This perennial is a member of the Mallow family (Malvaceae).
It spreads across the ground and the ends of its branches grow upward. It produces eye-catching hot pink flowers that resemble small
Hibiscus. This plant can handle
rough and rocky sites and is found naturally all across Oklahoma, especially in
western counties.
