Lazy Daisy; Aphanostephus
skirrobasis
Photo by Clarence A. Rechenthin @ USDA-NRCS Plants Database
The Lazy Daisy is an herbaceous annual, a member of the
Sunflower family and has white to pinkish ray florets and yellow disk florets.
During the heat of the day the ray florets fold in toward the center of
the flowering head to hide from the sun. This
little daisy is found most often in western Oklahoma counties.
